- Bring at least 5 or 6 addresses for envelopes. (I was reminded that family never writes back so choose accordingly)
- Pencil, eraser, bone folder, ruler, glue stick, scissors.
- A few (at least 8) sheets of copy paper.
- Brush pen, pigma FB or speedball M, crayola works too, heck anything works.
- micron pens
- Pointed pen nib, any ink.
- Your favorite ways to color; markers, colored pencils, water color, pastels etc. (KISS)
- Doc Martins Bleedproof white ,with pen and nib, or white gel pen or marker.
- Some change if you want to buy pretty stamps.
Bring what you have. We are sharers. You are free to do things your way. I have acrylic markers to share that work on black if you don’t have white. It’s all just fun today!
For Carole’s presentation, bring a quote, 2 to 3 lines long (4-5 words per line)
Some paper that won’t bleed with your ink. Scraps you have of arches, mixed media, Cansón or Gilbert bond will work . An appropriate nib. It ll save time if you have your paper pre-lined. For this experiment, you are going to write your quote quickly 4 times.
