  • Compendium 2026 – DECK THE HALLS

    Pointed Pen Book Hand Variation/Gift Tags – Nancy Nay

    In this class you will be taught a pointed pen variation of Book Hand that will be perfect for gift tags and other holiday greetings to help you Deck the Halls. You will first learn the alphabet and then use your new skills to create gift tags to take home. We will also try the same alphabet with a very small pointed brush marker (optional).

    Oh Snap Gingerbread Village – Tammy Harps

    Create ornaments, swags, villages, cards etc., with a Gingerbread theme. A simple, charming, and effective way to Deck the Halls and share Christmas joy.

    Christmas Ornaments with Elf/Curlz Lettering – Dorian Ashton

    This class will celebrate the season with a playful Elf inspired lettering class featuring the whimsical Curlz alphabet. We will explore its distinctive curls and letterforms, and then put them to use personaling festive paper Christmas ornaments. A delightful project to add some hand lettered magic to Christmas.

    Folded Star – Carol Taylor

    Create three dimensional stars to Deck the Halls. These can be made in any size with a variety of papers. (Save your calligraphy practice papers to add some lettering to the stars).

    These stars can be used as Christmas tree ornaments or decorations throughout your home. They also make delightful gifts for neighbors and friends.

    • Your favorite writing tool with a flexible tip that gives you thin upstrokes and thick down strokes
      • The Tombow Fudenosuke is a good choice or
    • a Pointed Pen/Ink
