Melissa is known for her decorative journals. You might have caught her posts she shares on social media. Learn how to make your own personalized keepsake journals with the help of Melissa. As she shares her tried and true tips and tricks you can learn these new skills to turn a basic journal into a treasure.
Here are the Supplies you’ll need to bring:
- Journal (the one made in UCA or something that can do some basic watercolor – Melissa has some Hanji notebooks available for purchase for anyone interested)
- Clear ruler – one that has a grid is best
- Pencil – any will do, but Melissa loves this light blue .5 lead
- Kneaded eraser
- Waterproof brush marker like the Pigma FB or Speedball M
- White gel pen
- Watercolors (any kind will do)
- Watercolor brushes (size 6 and size 10 round, but any size is fine)
With all this said, just bring what you have. Don’t feel pressure to purchase a bunch of new supplies for this class. It can be done simply with just loose leaf paper and a small brush pen and pencil.
